Add to plan Remove from plan

Built in 1834, this National Landmark Greek Revival mansion is the best example of the "brave houses and flowery gardens" described by Herman Melville in "Moby-Dick." The period rooms and exhibits in the Museum chronicle the social, economic and political evolution of the city, through the families who lived and worked at the House. Open year-round: April - December, Mon - Sat 10:00 am - 4:00 pm & Sunday noon - 4:00 pm; January - March, Mon- Sat 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
