Vaillancourt Folk Art, based in Sutton, Massachusetts, is one of the nation's last domestic Christmas studios producing highly detailed, hand-painted collectible chalkware figurines made from antique moulds. The family business was founded in 1984 and continues to sell to stores around the nation--including Neiman Marcus, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Williamsburg, and hundreds of small shoppes.
With an unbelievably decorated retail store, extensive Vaillancourt Christmas Museum, and guided tours through the artists' studio, a trip to Vaillancourt Folk Art is a true experience throughout the year.
The company's goal is to start a tradition by creating that one special gift that will be handed down for generations. Vaillancourt Chalkware is the original contemporary chalkware sold as a collectible product from antique chocolate moulds.
